New contactless, check-in procedure (due to coronavirus)

When you arrive at the site after 1.30pm, we request that you stay in your car and we’ll come out to you.  We will then direct you to your pitch and answer any questions that you may have about your stay.

We request that you maintain social distancing in all areas of the park please.  The shop will be open and we now have a counter screen in place; access will be restricted to one guest at a time, on a one-in, one-out basis and payments will be contactless.  Similarly, the washrooms will be limited to 2 guests at a time, using the same one-in, one-out system.  Please help us to uphold these protocols for the safety of everyone on site – this is a team effort.
All public areas (including washrooms, shop and washing up stations) will be sanitised with the latest anti-viral technology at the beginning and end of every day.

The reception desk, shop and first aid post are situated together within the main building which is on the left as you drive in (open 8.30am – 5.30pm).  There is also a defibrillator attached to the wall of the building adjacent to reception, please note its position when you enter the park.  There is access into all areas of the main building for wheelchairs along firm pathways.

The shop, which has an off-licence, supplies most basic foodstuffs, toiletries, home-made produce and fresh bread; hot croissants can be ordered in the afternoon, to be collected at reception the following morning .  We also stock sweets, drinks, ice-cream, gas, caravan accessories, maps, stamps and local crafts.  There is wifi available on all pitches and a token operated laundry available, please ask at reception.

In a separate wooden building next to reception you will find a large map of the area along with a wealth of information on local attractions & places to visit etc as well as a selection of books.

New Washroom Facilities for 2019!!

We’re delighted that our new washroom and toilet block is up and running, ready for the 2019 season.  The new block is behind Barney’s Restaurant & Bar and replaces the facilities in the main building (although these are also still available to use).

There is under-floor heating throughout and the water pressure vastly improved from the old block.  The design is spacious and contemporary and we have already received great feedback from the customers who have stayed with us recently since the facilities were ready to use.

Washroom Facilities

The park now has 4 washroom facilities, three of which are recently refurbished to the highest standards, featuring underfloor heating, showers, toilets, washbasins, hand and hair dryers, shaving points and free hot water throughout the day.

The facilities in the main building, accommodate our purpose-built washroom for those with special needs, with a RADAR lock, and is large enough to accommodate helpers.  The design of the room includes a number of handrails and grab handles. It is equipped with a low washbasin, low/raised toilet, full-length mirror and an alarm bell. The shower is extra-sized with a mobile seat and fully adjustable temperature controlled shower head.  The additional showers in this building are large, free and untimed. They also feature underfloor heating in the dry changing areas. The washbasins have their own individual curtained cubicles with mirrors, hooks and shelving and the ladies’ area has a baby bath and changing facility, hand dryer and hair dryer. In addition, the gentleman’s area has razor points.

Activities for Adults & Children

There’s lots on site for those who need a little additional entertainment, including a fenced children’s play area with chipped bark, table tennis, games room, television room and a pool table.  ALL SADLY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.

We are very conscious of promoting responsible recycling and need your help.
PLEASE dispose of your waste carefully. We know it’s easier to use one bin/bag for all waste while you’re on holiday, but it’s not good for the environment. Our bins are all clearly marked so please dispose of your waste accordingly.

You may not be aware that we have our own bored water on-site that is fully tested and certified. This means that our water is fresh & clean to drink.  PLEASE refill your water bottles from our taps, don’t buy new;  we must make single use plastic a thing of the past.  And don’t forget to REMOVE THE LID from the bottle if you do dispose of it in our recycling bins, as this allows us to crush the plastic and therefore reduce the volume of waste, saving fuel from reduced collections.

We also welcome Functions & Rallies!

If you are a member of a motoring club, or a similar group that likes to get together from time to time, we are happy to accommodate you.
Similarly, if you are organising a function, please contact us to discuss details & availability.

Caravan Storage

We have facilities on site to store 60 caravans, so please call for more information.
We also offer a caravan washing service for £50 (single & double axle).
