Facilities

We look forward to welcoming you to the Old Brick Kilns!

When you arrive at the site after 1.30pm, please come into reception (on your left by the carpark) where we will check you in, direct you to your pitch and answer any questions that you may have about your stay.

Reception/Shop

The reception desk, shop and first aid post are situated together within the main building which is on the left as you drive in (open 8.30am – 5.30pm).  There is also a defibrillator attached to the wall of the building adjacent to reception, please note its position when you enter the park.  There is access into all areas of the main building for wheelchairs along firm pathways.

The shop has an off-licence, supplies most basic foodstuffs, toiletries, home-made produce and fresh bread.  To start the day with a treat, you can order warm croissants, pain au chocolats and bacon turnovers to collect at reception the following morning.  We also stock sweets, pies, drinks (including locally-brewed ale, gin and wine), ice-cream (including for your 4 legged friend!), gas, caravan accessories, maps, stamps and local crafts.

In a separate wooden building next to reception, you will find a large map of the area along with a wealth of information on local attractions & places to visit etc as well as a selection of books.

There is a card-operated laundry room on site and we operate our own wifi, search for “Barney’s”, no password is required at the moment; please remember that North Norfolk broadband is not famous for its speed!

Washroom Facilities

The newest block which was completed in early 2019 is behind Barney’s Bar; it replaces the facilities in the main building. There is under-floor heating throughout and the water pressure vastly improved from the old block.  The design is spacious and contemporary and we have already received great feedback from the customers who have stayed with us since the facilities were ready to use.

The park now has 4 washroom facilities, three of which were also recently refurbished to the highest standards, featuring underfloor heating, showers, toilets, washbasins, hand and hair dryers, shaving points and free hot water throughout the day.

A fifth, brand new purpose-built disabled/family facility is also available, with a RADAR lock and large enough space to accommodate helpers.  The design includes a number of handrails and grab handles and is equipped with a low washbasin, low/raised toilet, full-length mirror and an alarm bell. The shower is extra-sized with a mobile seat and fully adjustable temperature controlled shower head.  The 2 additional unisex showers will be ideal for visiting families. All are free and untimed and also feature underfloor heating.

We are very conscious of promoting responsible recycling and need your help.
PLEASE dispose of your waste carefully. We know it’s easier to use one bin/bag for all waste while you’re on holiday, but it’s not good for the environment. Our bins are all clearly marked so please dispose of your waste accordingly.

You may not be aware that we have our own bored water on-site that is fully tested and certified. This means that our water is fresh & clean to drink.  PLEASE refill your water bottles from our taps, don’t buy new;  we must make single use plastic a thing of the past.  And don’t forget to REMOVE THE LID from the bottle if you do dispose of it in our recycling bins, as this allows us to crush the plastic and therefore reduce the volume of waste, saving fuel from reduced collections.

We also welcome Functions & Rallies!

If you are a member of a motoring club, or a similar group that likes to get together from time to time, we are happy to accommodate you.
Similarly, if you are organising a function, please contact us to discuss details & availability.
